- On delays in revenue cases, CM says: Ensure justice is delivered within the stipulated timeframe
Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday listened attentively to the grievances of people from various districts of the state during the ‘Janata Darshan’ programme. He accepted their applications and directed the concerned officials to ensure that every grievance is resolved within the prescribed timeframe. He further instructed that, after resolving the issue, officials should speak to the aggrieved party and ascertain whether they are satisfied with the action taken.
Reassuring the complainants, the Chief Minister said, “Return home without any worry. We will ensure proper resolution of every case.”
A woman from Bareilly met the Chief Minister and appealed for financial assistance for her cancer treatment. The Chief Minister asked her to provide the hospital’s cost estimate, which she was unable to produce immediately. He then advised her to obtain the estimate from the hospital and said, “You focus on your health. The government will take care of your treatment.” He also directed the officials to ensure that the patient is admitted to the hospital and receives proper medical care.
Several revenue-related cases were also presented during the Janata Darshan. On this, the Chief Minister stated that the government will not tolerate encroachment under any circumstances and that action against such violations will continue.

He also stressed the need for the timely disposal of revenue cases, noting that prompt decisions provide timely relief to litigants. The Chief Minister directed revenue officials to attend court proceedings regularly and deliver decisions without delay, observing that prolonged delays disproportionately affect poor litigants.
He reiterated that ensuring justice for litigants is the government’s commitment and instructed revenue officials to provide timely justice to all those in need.
